Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 14 May 2026

Welcome to the website of Banquet 88. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website located at www.banquet88.com (the "Site") and your interactions with our reservation platform. By browsing this Site or making a booking, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

The Site is operated by SIT SIT LTD ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales, operating at Unit 2, Commodity Quay, St Katharine Docks, London, E1W 1AZ.

1. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content displayed on this Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, custom logos, photographs, menus, layout design, and underlying software code, is the intellectual property of SIT SIT LTD or our licensors.

You may view and download pages from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial caching and reference only. You must not copy, reproduce, or republish any visual assets or text from this website without explicit written consent from our agency or management team.

2. Reservations & Booking Policies

To provide a premium dining experience, our online reservation system handles bookings under the following constraints:

  • Online Capacity: Standard online bookings via our SevenRooms widget are restricted to parties of up to 12 guests.
  • Late Arrivals: We understand London transport can be unpredictable, but we can only hold your allocated table for 15 minutes past your original booking time. After 15 minutes, the table may be released to walk-in guests.
  • Cancellations: If you need to modify or cancel your booking, we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice via your SevenRooms confirmation link or by contacting us directly.

3. Walk-ins and Table Allocation

While we eagerly welcome walk-in guests, seating is subject entirely to capacity and availability. Banquet 88 retains ultimate discretion over table allocations within the dining room and cannot guarantee specific tables or seating sections in advance.

4. Private Hire, Groups & Events

Our venue is custom-designed around a shared dining experience. For any bookings exceeding 8 guests, or for enquiries regarding private hire and bespoke corporate events, users must submit an inquiry form via our dedicated Private Dining & Events page. Group reservations are subject to separate formal hospitality contracts, deposit terms, and minimum spend requirements which will be detailed individually by our events lead.

5. House Rules & Licensed Premises Discretion

Banquet 88 operates under strict UK licensing guidelines. We maintain an upscale environment and require all patrons to adhere to our venue standards:

  • Age Restrictions: In compliance with the Licensing Act 2003, alcohol will only be served to individuals aged 18 or over. Our front-of-house team reserves the right to request valid photo ID (Challenge 25 policy).
  • Right of Refusal: Management retains the absolute right to refuse entry or service to any individual displaying disruptive, intoxicated, or inappropriate behaviour toward our staff or other diners.

6. Limitations of Liability

While we endeavour to ensure all menu items, opening hours, and pricing displayed on this Site are accurate and up-to-date, information is subject to change without prior notice. SIT SIT LTD will not be held liable for any direct or indirect operational disruptions, technical booking errors, or temporary website downtime.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Updates to These Terms

We may periodically update these operational terms to reflect seasonal changes or new UK legislative requirements. We encourage users to review this page periodically to remain informed.
